My name is Erika Kertész, I am a singer, songwriter, lyricist and vocal coach.
I come from Hungary, that’s where I studied for my BA degree in jazz singing. I give singing lessons in Budapest in Hungarian, English and Dutch languages.
Since 2009 I am the leader of jazz band E.K.Avenue, singer of pop band Oneword, and member of experimental vocal-guitar duo with jazz guitarist David Reschofsky. In these bands I work not only as a singer, but also as a songwriter and lyricist. I am lucky enough to share the stage with the most amazing musicians of the Hungarian jazz scene.

Teaching is a very important part of my life. I love talking to people, getting to know their stories, and I teach them the way I think they need it. It doesn’t matter if you are an adult professional singer or an enthusiastic beginner, I teach everybody with the same passion. On this website you will find more information about my vocal classes.
